Silent Counselling is a gentle, embodied form of emotional support that works with the body’s natural language rather than the thinking mind. Through presence, attuned listening, and meridian-based breathing and tapping, we create space for your system to soften, release, and feel safe enough to settle.
This approach is especially supportive for sensitive nervous systems, where talking too much can feel overwhelming or activating. Instead, we allow the body to lead — meeting whatever is here with compassion, patience, and nervous-system-level safety.
This work doesn’t require you to analyse, explain, or relive your story.
It’s about being met.

After 25 years of living with ME, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue, I had tried so many things. I was exhausted not just physically, but emotionally — and deep down, I had started to lose hope that my body could ever truly feel safe or well again.
Discovering EFT was a turning point in my life.
For the first time, I felt deeply validated. My symptoms made sense. My experience was honoured. And instead of being told to “push through” or “manage”, I was gently invited to listen to my nervous system.
Within five to six months of working with EFT, everything began to shift. My energy started to return. My system softened. Old patterns of fear, survival, and holding slowly released.
It felt as though my body was finally being met, rather than fixed.
That experience changed my life — and it’s the foundation of the way I work today. ✨

The silent counselling that Emily did really helped me calm down and feel less anxious. I was quite confused at first and the process was made very simple for me. I felt very relaxed as the process went on and afterwards I felt so relaxed. My anxiety in terms of schoolwork is quite severe and Emily helped me manage that in our limited time. I found the sessions interesting and unusual. I really did not know what to expect. I had done very little tapping before but I do practice yoga and understand about the powers of directional breathing and mental attitude. During the session I felt my whole body warmer, blood flow increased and extremities tingling pleasantly. During both sessions I yawned a lot, which I understand it to be a good sign. Before the second session my stomach was quite bloated and uncomfortable. However, by the end of it I felt better, no discomfort, warmer and certainly more relaxed. I slept about 9h after both sessions and feel calmer.
I have many health issues at present and do value anything which can bring me some relief or comfort which I do feel these sessions have provided. Long term, only time will tell. But if yoga technics are anything to compare with, it will require continued practicing.

Firstly I will start by thanking Emily for the opportunity of being her case study and to experience a new approach to healing.
I found the two sessions intriguing and a personal challenge, Silent Counselling!
As a therapist I am aware and familiar with the concept and the reality of supportive healing through just being there for someone, offering gentle guidance as needed or a reassuring touch.
Emily most definitely offered both to me during our sessions. Even more amazing as this was achieved via Zoom appointments.
She just has this way of reaching out and holding through her compassion and passion in her voice and visual presence. And of course her ability to ‘read the room’ and respond accordingly.
During our sessions I found her to be clear in guiding me through the process, with the awareness at which pace to go, allowing me the moments needed between each of the techniques; in other words, I didn’t feel rushed. I was allowed to breathe, I was allowed to (silently) express if a particular exercise warranted my staying with it a bit longer, I felt guided and not forced to focus on what at those moments was in my thoughts and to allow the process to see me through in moving it out; giving my emotions space and relief through expelling the ‘stuckness.’
Now, on reflection, this Silent Counselling breath work & tapping actually makes more sense to me and I appreciate its ability to encourage and support one’s journey to finding balance.
I thank Emily for introducing me to this therapy and for allowing me to take from it what I needed with not pushing her agenda into our sessions; and as important, ensuring I was left in a safe space at the end of our time together. HC

I am a great believer in EFT and have had many successful sessions with Emily in the past. I was a bit sceptical when Emily started practising silent EFT as it felt too remote to work as effectively. I have been used to doing EFT in person and liked the touch element of Emily tapping on my face. However, Emily and I are very connected and she worked slowly through the process with me on Zoom, addressing my anxieties around my studies and the root causes of those anxieties. At the time, I didn’t notice any real difference until I sat at my desk the next day and realised that I had a completely different attitude: much calmer, clearer thinking and began to really enjoy it! From overwhelmed & crying to calmness & clarity. I saw Emily today. It was my third or fourth session. I started the session in floods of tears! Having rushed from the supermarket, dumped the shopping & shouted instruction to my teenager to put the shopping away! But the root for me … experiencing overwhelm across all areas of my life. In particular some aspects of work. Initially I couldn’t speak as was crying too much! Emily was able to instinctively adapt the session so I could let out my tears … I did eventually calm down … Emily amazingly tapped into what I needed (no idea how) but all I can say is this girl has amazing awareness & talents!
